As the owner and founder of Live to Serve Academy\, Samantha helps aspiring health professionals live\, lead\, and serve with confidence. With students and graduates in over 10 countries\, her community uses science-based modalities and purpose-driven business practices to support people in living a vibrant\, meaningful life. \n\n\n\nCurriculum\n\n\n\nModule 1: Anatomy & PhysiologyAn introduction to anatomy and physiology\, and how the structure of the body enables movement. Explore the benefits of yoga for children\, and become familiar with commonly used terms. \n\n\n\nModule 2: Healthy LivingLearn about the foundational principles of Ayurveda and Yoga\, and how these principles may contribute to optimal wellbeing. Explore ways to bring Ayurveda and healthy living to children in a fun and easy to understand manner. \n\n\n\nModule 3: Yoga PhilosophyExplore traditional yoga philosophy\, and dive deep into techniques for spiritual nourishment. \n\n\n\nModule 4: Teaching MethodologyDevelop the skills required to teach safe\, enjoyable\, and effective classes. \n\n\n\nModule 5: TechniquesLearn yogic techniques including asana\, meditation\, breathing\, and relaxation practices. \n\n\n\nModule 6: Class PlanningLearn about the elements of an effective class plan. Use our class planning template to build your own 10-week term plans so that you’re ready to teach in schools\, studios\, or private classes upon completion of the course. \n\n\n\nModule 7: Creative ActivitiesDevelop the skills required to keep children engaged and entertained. \n\n\n\nModule 8: Programs & OfferingsCreate unique offerings and programs to serve your students in a variety of ways\, such as classes\, courses\, school programs\, workshops\, and retreats.Resources: use our class plans and pre-made programs; plus\, maintain lifetime access to the educational portal and monthly group mentoring calls. \n\n\n\nScope of Practice\n\n\n\nAs a Live to Serve Academy Kids Yoga teacher you will develop skills that will enhance your own yoga practice\, alongside the knowledge and confidence to assist you in passing on these skills to your young students.You’ll learn how to confidently ‘kidify’ the traditional teaching of Hatha yoga\, mantra meditation\, and the basics of Ayurveda. \n\n\n\nMethod of Delivery\n\n\n\nThis course is delivered both online and in person\, with the option to complete the entire course online. \n\n\n\nDuration of Training\n\n\n\n3 days live training\, suggested 6 weeks for completion. \n\n\n\nIn person training is offered in Gold Coast\, QLD.
