Feel at peace with your surrounds and immerse yourself into the ancient art of Yoga whilst gaining your teaching qualification. \n\n\n\nYour principal supervising trainer is Ruth Campbell\, a Registered Senior Teacher and trainer with Yoga Australia. Ruth is supported by highly experienced Trainers for specific subject areas and also 2 of our own graduates\, Heidi Richards and Nicola Smith. \n\n\n\nHeidi is currently completing a 2 year Yoga Therapy training\, is a qualified meditation teacher\, a qualified Restorative Yoga teacher and has been running our Yoga for Beginners programs for a number of years.   \n\n\n\nNicola has done a Physiotherapy training and is our in-house Anatomy expert. She has a deep knowledge of anatomy\, physiology and the philosophy of yoga.   \n\n\n\nJoin us for a journey of exploration into the 8 limbs of yoga. Enjoy the process of this ancient philosophy grounded in modern day life. Find connection with your fellow students in learning how Yoga is a tool for living well.  \n\n\n\nThis course evolves through the physical practice of yoga to the moral and ethical standards that the ancient yogis used to keep themselves “on-track”. \n\n\n\nYou do not have to be ‘great’ at physical yoga to benefit from this training. We learn the techniques of effective breathing (pranayama) and study the fascinating material of the Yoga Sutras\, the Energy Systems of the Body\, Anatomy and Physiology\, the benefits of Meditation\, and the Methodolgy and Techniques needed to pass this information effectively on to others. \n\n\n\nThe final 150 hour Immersion and Teacher Training is scheduled to commence in Februaruy 2023. Training days will be published shortly. 12 face to face training days will be offered\, enabling existing trainees who have completed either the 100 hour module or 200 hour training to extend their knowledge. See below for 100 hour module dates and information. \n\n\n\nCompletion of the full 350 hr training with Pine Rivers Yoga enables students to apply for level 1 membership of Yoga Australia. Completion of the 250 hour course gives trainees the qualification to apply for insurance to teach.    \n\n\n\nIn addition to the mandatory contact hours\, students need to complete assignments\, study yoga for the ageing population and become familiar with using yoga as a therapeutic practice.. A log book of all personal study hours should be maintained. \n\n\n\nCurrent First Aid Certification is also a requirement before completion of the course. \n\n\n\nThe Subject Material for this training includes:>    History and Traditions of Yoga\, including Ethics and Lifestyle>    Philosophy including Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga and the Yoga Sutras>    Principles of practice>    Yogic Physiology including the Yogic Energy System of the Body>    Yoga Anatomy and its relationship to Energy\, Alignment and Bodily Systems>    Pranayama (Breathing Practices)>    Yoga techniques incl: Asana\, Bandha\, Mudras\, Mantra\, Relaxation & Meditation>    Yoga Asana and its related Teaching Methodology and Skills\, including the use of Sanskrit  \n\n\n\nPractical Teaching Application is an important part of this training\, however\, it is not necessarily the only reason students of yoga wish to take on some more in depth study of this vast subject. If you do not want to teach yoga but do want to increase your knowledge and understanding\, this course offers plenty of insights into yoga and the study of the “Self.”    \n\n\n\nA minimum of 1 year of weekly yoga practice is recommended before considering a Yoga Teacher Training. \n\n\n\nFOR MORE INFORMATION AND BOOKINGS\, please visit http://pineriversyoga.com/index.php?web_page_name=teachertraining URL:https://yogaaustralia.org.au/event-course/350-hour-pine-rivers-yoga-teacher-training-and-yoga-immersion-program/ LOCATION:Pine Rivers Yoga Studio\,\, 1 Pinedale Road\, Cashmere\, QLD\, 4500\, Australia CATEGORIES:350hr,Registered Courses ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://yogaaustralia.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/PNY-logo_square.jpg ORGANIZER;CN="Ruth%20Campbell":MAILTO:ruth@pineriversyoga.com GEO:-27.297111;152.905622 X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=Pine Rivers Yoga Studio 1 Pinedale Road Cashmere QLD 4500 Australia;X-APPLE-RADIUS=500;X-TITLE=1 Pinedale Road:geo:152.905622,-27.297111 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
